About Our Home
This is a vacation apartment so non simultaneous swap is possible. It's quite new (7 years) and we haven't used it much. It's sunny and bright. There is a communal swimming pool and garden with 2 Padel courts. It is located in a quiet part of the city but not far from the centre and close to the best restaurants. It has air conditioning in the living room and the main bedroom. Sanlucar de Barrameda is an historical town opposite the Doñana National Park. It is famous for its wines and seafoof and is a popular Summer destination. It's 25 km from Jerez airport, 43 km from Cádiz (one of the oldest cities in Europe) and 110 km from Seville.
There are lots of seafood restaurants a few minutes walk from the house
Wine and tapas. Flamenco bars. Discos. Music bars on the beach.
Food: Mercadona supermarket 4 min drive. Grocery 3 min walk.
XVIII century huge wine cellars. Some minor museums. Ancient historical buildings,Real Maestranza de Caballería in Jerez (22 km). Archeological Museum in Cadiz (43 km)
Beach, sailing courses, visits to Doñana. Alcornocales Natural Park (40 km). Gibraltar Straits Natural Park 129 km (overlooking Africa)
The city is full of churches and beautiful Andalusian houses and palaces. It overlooks Doñana Natural park and Guadalquivir river

  2. I was a teacher but am retired now due to a serious back spine problem.
  3. We love mountains and forests but also culture and art.

We have never done a home exchange but would love to do one. We are educated and civilized people. We mind the people and the environment. I was a teacher for 30+ years and my wife still works in a cultural institution.
