Comfortable family home Connemara
About Our Home
Experience the unspoilt beauty of Connemara in a comfortable family home, just off the main road. Friendly neighbours in a rural community. Large backyard with swings, soccer goals and trampoline. Two barn cats roaming outside. Rosscahill is 7km from the charming village of Oughterard which is on the shores of Lough Corrib and is known for its fishing. Only a 25 minute drive to lively and cultural Galway City and Altantic beaches. Built ten years ago, our home is a light-filled timber frame house with a wood-burning stove. Two double bedrooms, one single bedroom. Two living rooms (one upstairs, one on ground floor) and a kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and all the essentials. The laundry room has a washing machine and a tumble dryer. We have a ten year old son so our home is family-friendly with plenty of toys. Our family consists of myself, my husband and our ten year old son. We both work in local colleges. We have great neighbours who'll give you any information you need, beautiful local walks, mountain bike trails (and three bikes!) and Connemara on your doorstep to discover. We're happy to consider a car exchange as well.
Our home is non-smoking.
