About Our Home
My flat is comfortably close to the main attractions in Rome, but not as close as to be right in the middle of the touristy mayhem! You can walk to the Coloseum and Circus Maximus in 20 minutes or, if you're feeling a bit lazy, there are 2 buses just down the road that'll take you there in no time. The best ice-cream shop in Rome is 5 minutes away and there's an amazing park literally 2 minutes down the road. I love my home and have tried to make it as comfortable as possible both for myself and anyone visiting. I have 2 big rooms, each with a balcony and huge closet, flat TV screen in the lounge and wi-fi connection.
Special Considerations
No smoking, no pets, no kids. Please water the plants on the two balconies :)
Nearby
Restaurants
La Madia (pizza restaurant); Da Domenico (fish restaurant); Pompi (café with best tiramisù in Rome); Procopio (one of hte best ice-creams in Rome); SMA (supermarket down the road)
Clubs/Cafes
Plenty of bars in the Monti area, a 15 minute ride by bus/metro.
Shops/Markets
via Appia is the longest shopping strip in Europe and it's 10 minutes down the road. Also, you can lose yourself in the via Sannio open air market...lots of bargains to find! :)
Sports/Outdoors
There is apark just down the road where you can go jogging, for a pic nic or simply to take pictures of the ruins of Roman fountain which is still there. It's one of Rome's biggest and most beautiful parks.

I have never tried home-exchanges but I absolutely adore my home and would take care of yours as much as I do with mine.
