About Our Home
We have a 4-bedroom/2-bathroom home (2 bedrooms on bottom floor, 2 on top). On bottom floor there is a double bed in one room and a bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top in the other. On the second floor there is 1 room with a double futon and one room with a king size bed that share a bathroom. There is a couchbed in the basement and a sectional couch in the living room that could sleep 1 adult or 2 kids. We have a vegetable garden and patio out back. We have a TV/DVD player and Netflix access. We'd consider an auto exchange. We have 2 young kids and have a crib and a height chair, and tons of toys in the carpeted basement.
Special Considerations
No smoking or drugs in house. Guests must take care of our 2 cats and plants inside and outside.

About Us
- We are a couple in our 40's with two boys.
- Doug works for the Society for Conservation Biology and Lindsey works for Georgetown University and is the co-founder and co-director of Real Food for Kids - Montgomery.
- We both love traveling and good food and Doug likes hiking, rock climbing and scuba diving; Lindsey likes cooking and reading.
Personal Message
When we're home, we are happy to welcome couples, single females or families, but not single men. Sorry. We can put together a spare bedroom with a double bed but for no more than 3 nights in a row. For an exchange, we have 4 bedrooms, 1 king, 1 double, 1 bunk beds with a full on bottom and twin on top, and 2 twin trundle beds. We have 2 full bathrooms. We're 13 minutes walk from the metro to Washington DC, which is 15-25 minutes by metro.
