The suite is normally a Vacation Rental so ignore the price for the Home exchange / Stay4free It is a completely separate, private, whole self contained suite, and features wonderful heated floors throughout! (link replaced) This Modern 1 Bedroom Garden Suite is newly renovated in a character home, surrounded by a lush West Coast garden, on a quiet street with some beautifully restored heritage homes right in our area. The suite has heated floors throughout which is wonderful in the winter!, There is a large fully equipped kitchen with gas range, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, French press (Bodum), and toaster. Dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, spices, oil, tea, coffee, flour and other odds and sods of useful kitchen items. There is a Queen bed in the bedroom for 2 people with cozy and luxurious linens, and a full closet for your clothes and other items. There is a regular sofa in the living room (the sofa does not fold out so it's not a sofa bed or sleeper sofa). There is a full Bathroom, with towels, shampoo, all toiletries, hairdryer, curling iron etc. Included is also telephone and answering machine for locals calls and people can call into the line long distance from other countries. TV with 50 odd cable channels, free wireless high speed internet, DVD player with 30 DVD's to watch at your leisure and security alarm system in suite. There is an ironing board, umbrellas, and a vacuum. Sorry there is no laundry in the suite, but there is a great little laundromat 2 blocks away Commercial Drive is just a five minute walk away. The Drive is also known for its eclectic mix of people and cultures, and has fabulous cafes, shops, restaurants, markets, theatres, Gelato shops, and deli's. The area is also known as Grandview / Woodlands / Sunrise,/ Hastings and has great markets just a few blocks away for groceries, restaurants and Italian / Portuguese deli's. The suite is 5 to 10 minutes from downtown by car. We are 2 Blocks from the main buses that run downtown every 10 mins. Close to Broadway/Commercial Drive Sky-train transit station that connects with all the other monorail (skytrain lines) Close to the Bridge to the North Shore and it's majestic mountains. Sorry there is no smoking in the suite. (outside is okay) Sorry no pets allowed due to people with pet allergies

(don't park in front of neighbours to our East as they have small children and have lots to load in and out of their car. Leave the suite in good clean condition as when you arrive.
