About Our Home
Our house is a terraced house on a quiet street just off the main street through Newbiggin. Newbiggin is a very friendly village in the north-east of England, about 20km north of Newcastle (and Newcastle international airport). The village has excellent bus links to all the towns in the vicinity and to Newcastle, and a range of shops including a supermarket and a post office. The house itself is very near a bus stop.
The house is 2 minutes away from the beach, with lovely walks along it and beautiful views out to sea. It's a great place for finding seashells, rocks and an array of wildlife such as fish and crabs.
Special Considerations
Pets are welcome, although please no smoking inside the house (however there is a back garden and a front path where it is convenient to do so).

Personal Message
We take pride in our home and expect others to do the same; therefore, it follows that we would treat any house as if it were our own (i.e. with care and respect). We have already stayed a week at a house that was not our own by ourselves (although it wasn't a home exchange); therefore, we have experience of sorts of taking care of other people's homes.
