About Our Home

Our home is a 200sqm loft-style apartment (150sqm interior and 50sqm terrace with a leafy outlook), fit out by well-known Australian interior designer Stephen Collins. It is located in the inner city suburb of Leichhardt – Sydney’s Little Italy. People from all around Sydney come to Norton Street (just a 3 minute walk from our home) for its cafés and restaurants. It’s a great place for lovers of great books and films too, with Berkelouw and Shearers bookshops and the Palace Cinema also found on this street. Supermarkets, fruit shops, pâtisseries and delis are all closeby and on Saturday there is an organic food market at the Orange Grove School about a walking distance. There is a great 7km walking/running/cycling track known as the Iron Cove 'Bay Run' a few streets away that follows the entire natural course of the cove, never deviating more than 20 metres from the water. And the city is only 5kms away. So we’re not far from iconic sites like the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. There are plenty of wonderful day trips to be had as well, so there's no chance of being bored. You can explore Sydney beautiful beaches, amazing galleries and museums, sail or windsurf on the harbour, sample wine at the Hunter Valley, or take in the spectacular sights like the three sisters in the Blue Mountains.
