About Our Home
ENJOY A STAY IN OHANA KAHUNA CABIN AND BE A PART OF OUR SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY IN THE HAWAII RAINFOREST!
CABIN: Ohana Kahuna is the most comfortable eco-lodging on the Hedonisia Hawaii property. It has a King Sized Canopy Bed. The bedframe is a 19th century antique. And, from your bed, when you open the door, you are treated to a glorious sweeping ocean view! Ohana Kahuna also has electricity and WiFi access.
Like all our lodgings, Ohana Kahuna has been created out of mostly recycled and renewable materials.
Hedonisia Hawaii is a sustainable community rainforest retreat where we offer affordable ecofriendly lodgings in Hawaii. Please visit our website at (link replaced) to see pictures and more info of our home and community. (Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry are shared with the community, shared facilities are cleaned by community members and volunteers.)
Special Considerations
The island of Hawaii is divided into two basic areas; the West where it is dry, great beaches and lots of "tourist" stuff very much like Waikiki. It is about three hours drive away.
However, if you are looking for a different Hawaii that is more laid back and easygoing then the east side of the Big Island is for you!
The Puna region is lush and green Hawaiian rainforest.
