About Our Home
I am 40 years old and I am currently working on my PhD in political science. I live with my two children, Sólrún and Daníel, 15 and 19 years old. Our home is a cozy and bright three bedroom flat with an access to a shared back garden (with two other flats). The flat can accommodate up to six people in three double beds (one king size and two queen size). My bedroom (actually a former second living room) and my sons bedroom are quite spacious while my daughter has the smallest room (but the most artistic one). The kitchen is quite small but fully equipped. The bathroom comes with a bathtub and shower facilities.
The location of the apartment is great and it is close to all the necessary amenities. A bakery, supermarkets and restaurants are just a few minutes away. It is in quiet and calm neighborhood - but it only takes a few minutes to walk downtown for more action. The walk downtown takes about seven minutes (or one bus stop). It takes about two minutes to stroll down to the harbor where one can enjoy a cup of good coffee or a nice meal in one of small restaurants by the harbor side. It is about 30 minutes walk to the bus station to the airport, or four bus stops (bus number 14).
If we swap I will off course treat your home as my own - with care and respect.
